The 0-Emission Italian Power Boat Concept Behind the Acura ZDX

The idea behind the ZDX is to pioneer green change and carbon neutrality by the year 2050. With a vision of luxury Italian power boats and the possibility of unique manual and fully automated driving options, the ZDX will usher in a plethora of Acura EVs in 2026. With the ZDX’s creation, there’s also a company-wide desire to transfer all North American sales direction to battery-electric and fuel cell electric vehicles by 2040. When you purchase your first Acura ZDX, you’ll be helping make those green global goals a reality.

When the ZDX arrives, expect the following exterior design sophistication:

  • An athletic stance
  • A sharp, expressive silhouette
  • Matte finished, bold Double Apex Blue exterior paint

The Acura ZDX is a collaboration between the greatest minds at Acura, the American-based Honda brand, and GM. All three entities are putting their faith in the EV Ultium-battery powered platform when it comes to making the ZDX an electric reality. For all you Acura performance fans, the model will later be produced under the Type S line, featuring dazzling driver-centric electric performance of unprecedented proportion.
