How Often Should I Change My Oil?
In general, you should aim to get your oil changed every 3 to 6 months. That’s typically about 4,000 to 7,500 miles under normal use.
However, if you regularly drive long distances (over 300 miles a week), you may want to consider getting your oil changed more frequently. You should also check your owner’s manual to see if your model has a different schedule for oil changes.

- Tires - tires generally last about 30,000 to 50,000 miles, but get them replaced earlier if the tread runs down. Ideally, you should get your tires rotated every 6 months.
- Coolant - you should change your coolant about every 2-3 years.
- Brakes - get your brake fluid replaced every 2 years and get new brake pads at 30,000-60,000 miles (or when they feel squishy).
- Transmission fluid - get your transmission fluid replaced every 30,000-60,000 miles for a manual and 60,000-100,000 miles if you have an automatic.
